Customers of the West End Cider House will be satisfied if they are searching for a new and improved drink of choice.

For the young people of Athens, some may be experiencing what it means to be 21 and enjoying the wide world of cocktails for the first time. No matter the age, Athens locals will surely be returning customers at the West End Cider House after visiting.

Served in a copper mug, the West End Cider House Moscow Mule is a smooth and refreshing take on the classic cocktail. This mule is a well-balanced mix of local Fifth Element Vodka, ginger, fresh lime, soda and hopped grapefruit bitters with a lime garnish.

The Moscow Mule is $8 a mug and stands as one of the cheapest cocktails on the menu. The West End Cider House website says all cocktails are made with 2 oz. spirits pour, fresh fruit juices, housemade syrups, infusions and bitters.

Although the West End Cider House may be a hike for some, it is a cozy spot to enjoy live music or spend a chilly afternoon playing board games with friends.

You can find the Moscow Mule at the West End Cider House at 234 W. Washington St.. Call (740) 591-2639 for more information on hours and specials.
