Caramel Apple Cider Mimosa

Total Time: 5 Minutes | Makes: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 cup chilled apple cider

  • 1 750-ml bottle champagne

  • Apple slices, for garnish

Directions:

Dip the rim of a glass in caramel, then spin the rim in brown sugar. Pour one cup of apple cider into the glass, then add champagne. Top with an apple slice to spruce up the presentation. Serve, sip and enjoy!

Apple Cinnamon Waffles

Total Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 1 minute | Makes: 10 servings

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups warm milk

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon caramel

  • 1 grated apple

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat the waffle iron. In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and grated apple. In a separate small bowl, whisk the eggs and stir in warm milk and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until blended. Ladle the batter into the heated waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp. Top with cinnamon whipped cream, pecans and caramel.

Cinnamon Whipped Cream

Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • ¼ cup confectioners’ sugar

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

In a medium bowl, mix the heavy cream at medium speed until thick. Gradually mix in the confectioners’ sugar and cinnamon. Chill until ready to use.
