With Thanksgiving break only days away, it’s hard to think about doing anything but sitting by a fire and eating more turkey than is medically advisable. But before you head home, check out everything Athens has to offer this weekend.

Prints, Plants & Pots Sale

Looking for unique gift ideas? This weekend the Arts West performance space will transform into a market of prints and ceramics made by local artists and locally grown plants.

Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind

Saturday, November 23, 8-10 p.m. and Sunday November 24, 2-4 p.m.

Members of the Lost Flamingo Theatre Company will play themselves in this improv-heavy show. The cast will perform 30 short plays in 60 minutes, and audience interaction is encouraged. Head to the theatre in Baker University Center to get in on the action. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.

Find some pre-holiday zen at Little Fish Brewing Company. Every Sunday until December 29 Little Fish hosts an all levels donation-based yoga class taught by local instructors Erin Pfahler and Maria Casa. Yoga mats not provided.
